The bottom line message for Ali BabaReader comment on item: Tectonic Shifts in Attitudes toward Israel Submitted by Prashant, Feb 5, 2019 at 23:29 Dear Dr Pipes, Your reader Ali Baba gave a coherent reply to my message suggesting that Hinduism and Judaism should be proselytizing religions. But Ali Baba's response was laden with the standard Islamic cliches about Islam being the original/only-true/final/perfect religion. We have beaten this topic to death here and every where else: circular reasoning does not prove anything and you do not become one prophet or last prophet just because you say so. With due respect. That said, Ali Baba should focus on something else: Hinduism and Judaism may or may not be proselytizing religions but IN ISLAMIC THEOCRACIES, no religion can be proselytizing and that is the matter of gravest concern. No religion should be so fragile that it needs to be protected by man-made or man-enforced laws.
