Conflicts of the Middle EastReader comment on item: Biden's Emerging Foreign Policy Submitted by Mustafa Botani (Sweden), Feb 22, 2021 at 13:33 I constantly follow your research activities in political and strategic matters, especially those related to the multi-faceted and multi-purpose conflicts of the Middle East, and all parties to the conflict use religion and doctrines to mislead the peoples of the region and pass their racist projects that aim only to control money, power and energy sources. I suggest you, Professor Daniel, that you contribute more strongly to the analysis of Turkish and Iranian expansionist policy and their efforts to restore their imperial glories at the expense of the pain of the indigenous peoples of the region such as the Kurds, Armenians, Syriacs, Assyrians, and other national and ethnic minorities. I congratulate you for your appreciated efforts and wish you continued success in your blessed mission.

It's a good topic and I have written about the Kurds. But the other groups require a great deal of specialized knowledge about non-Muslim groups and I have focused on Muslim peoples through my career. Israel is the exception; but how can an American work on Middle Eastern issues and not deal with Israel? Reader comments (71) on this item |
