Emerging foreign policy and NATO

I always enjoy Mr. Pipes's insights. My concern with the resurrected Iranian nuke deal is as follows:
1. Iranian leadership continues to make the U.S. and Israel its boogey man. They will not rest until the U.S. is entirely out of the Middle East and or driven away from regional relevance.
2. Iranian leadership cannot be trusted, even if the nuke deal is inked again. It is also obvious, with Kerry's role in the administration and the Obama shadow, Biden is all to anxious to ink a new deal.
3. The Obama administration ignored Iran's regional role in terrorism. It also ignored Hezbollah, an Iranian surrogate and major worldwide proxy in the terror game--with involvement in drug trafficking as well.
4. I lived in Europe for 3 years as a U.S. military asset--none of the NATO nations were up to snuff when it came to professionalism and or quality, save the Brits. Most of NATO just doesn't spend the money like we do on our military.
5. Iran also has boasted that it will destroy Israel within 25 years (some officials have said 20 years). Regardless, Iran has made it's intentions known and in my view, the acquisition of nukes would make them a player (in their minds) if and when they decided to take on Israel in a major conflict. It is also obvious that HAMAS and Hezbollah are poised to lend support in such a conflict.
