Introduction of Further Uncertainty in A Nuclear Response ScenarioReader comment on item: Biden's Emerging Foreign Policy Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Feb 24, 2021 at 23:34 The Iranian Islamic Regime's posture towards America's ever changing attitude when it comes to protecting allies in a nuclear environment may have a new challenge in how to respond; political operatives in the 46th American Administrative Chief Executive's circle of confidantes are considering a new set of circumstances, based on this questions: to whom are the nuclear codes to be entrusted? There appears to be dissent in allowing the current Chief Executive decision making authority in a DefCon 5 scenario; what are they afraid of; and should the average American have the same set of concerns with a wartime theater scenario going nuclear at the most insignificant of set of circumstances imaginable? Worse yet, who would they get to replace that type of authority? Anyone? Anyone? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
