Biden's USA is not Israel's friendReader comment on item: Biden's Emerging Foreign Policy Submitted by Prashant (United States), May 27, 2021 at 00:20 Dear Dr Pipes: during his presidency Mr Obama was barely in speaking terms with the Israeli PM. Biden will be no different. Israel should not count on the support from any democracy in the world. Most democracies are compromised by Muslim's nexus with the left. Leftists divide a society between rich and poor without ever defining who is rich and who poor. So more and more people feel disenfranchised and victimized. Muslims have only one principle: grab more land for Islam. So they conveniently side with the leftists. This nexus makes it very difficult for any right-leaning party to win democratic elections in a country with even a 10 to 15% Muslim population. So, in the future, more and more western democracies will fail to standup for Israel. And, Israel will be even more isolated. What can we do? It is going to be a tough battle. A worldwide coalition will have to be built of people who believe that Islam must change and Islamists are a danger to everyone including themselves. This coalition will have to fight a borderless and violence-free intellectual war against the current form of Islam and hope that it changes and weakens before it swallows us all. I might be overly pessimistic but this is my diagnosis and prescription. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
