Governance of Israel has Always been Theocratic

Reader Prashant brings into view for this observer a circumstance that had been intimated and indicated from previous discussions that Israel's continued retreat into isolationism is sufficiently detailed in his observation; and this reader, for similar if not necessarily the same reasons, concurs.
For those who have understood now why this observer relies upon the Tanach (Tanakh) for why this is for references regarding how Israel's destiny is not humanly religiously defined.
Reader Prashant's observation of Israel's true form of governance is a theocracy is a practical basis for understanding Israel's future; and the rest of the world will eventually follow suit. Start in the Nevi'im Book of Samuel where the first Israeli King Shaul was chosen to be king; but in later testimony, that choice was in deference to the Eternal Sovereign making that determination responding to the rebellion of the people to the Theocracy that had been the rule of the Law (Torah) until that time. From then unit now, the destiny of Israel is about getting back to Who is really King of Israel. And that is the life and times of Israel whose chase of democracy only delays the inevitability of the return of the Holy One of Israel; see Ezekiel Ch 10.
