NPR reporters are more worried about the so called "Islamophobia." Rushdie? He does not count after all his book is "Controversial"Reader comment on item: The Rushdie Fatwa 25 Years Later Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Aug 15, 2022 at 06:38 And the saga goes on and on. >Dear Dr Pipes, The Times of India reported that President Joe Biden made the following statement on the attack on Rushdie: "Jill and I were shocked and saddened to learn of the vicious attack on Salman Rushdie yesterday in New York. We, together with all Americans and people of the around the world, are praying for his health and recovery." Notice that he does not mention that the alleged attacker is a Shi'a Muslim who is more likely than not was interested in getting some 2 million dollars from the crazy Ayatollahs of Iran as a payout for his cowardly crime. And yes it is an Islamic Fatwa issued by the crazy Ayatollahs against Rushdie for reminding the readers about a story mentioned in the most important Islamic books including the Qur'an, Sirat Rasul Allah, al-Bukhari, Tafasir (pl of Tafsir) of the Qur'an by the giant scholars of Islam including al-Tabari, al-Qurtubi, Ibn Kathir, and al-Jalalayn. So would the Ayatollahs be issuing fatwas against the authors and the readers of these books too? Imagine if this young man was a white Christian man who attacked Rushdie because of some crazy Christian leader issued a Christian Fatwa against Rushdie! I will leave this to your imagination. Notice that reporters at NPR declared that "sky is falling" after and the murder of 4 Muslims in Albuquerque and claiming that it must be the creepy "Islamophobia" and that every Muslim and his cousin was in hiding. And when the news came out that the accused is, guess what?, a Muslim. This was the end of the reporting. This time their reporter is worried about, not Rushdie, but Islamophobia. https://www.npr.org/2022/08/13/1117389122/salman-rushdie-satanic-verses-controversy Notice the reporter calls it: The Satanic Verses controversy. The Satanic Verses is in Islamic books so are these Islamic books and their authors, the Qur'an included, Islamophobic too? NPR should be defunded. It is a joke. Last, Comedy time. Some lost Pakistani Tablighee by the glorious name of Rehan M Sapir is happy that Rushdie was attacked and he declared that "All Muslims want Head" No I'm not kidding and his twitter account was suspended. google "Rehan M Sapir twitter" and you will get a screen shot of the tweet and laugh. The wonderful Tarek Fatah says: no country has so many rectums like Pakistan.
