Half-Palestinian Jordan Will, or Must, FallReader comment on item: Israel's Partial Victory Submitted by Robert (United States), Dec 17, 2022 at 11:41 Dear Dr. Daniel Pipes, As you know about half of Jordanians are Palestinians (those who fled the West of the Jordan River as a result of the wars with Israel). It looks like they will never accept that Israel is here to stay. So the King of Jordan has no choice but to appease them, or loose his Thrown. The article below explains the "cold peace" between Israel and Jordan as getting even colder. I do not see any alternative but a revolution in Jordan. There is nothing Israel can do for Jordan except appease Jordan at Israel's expense. So Israel and Jordan must prepare for a violent revolution in Jordan, as I see it. https://freebeacon.com/national-security/peace-between-jordan-and-israel-unraveling-report-says/ Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
