Islam hides behind many concepts which, honesty, are irrelevant to IslamReader comment on item: Israel's Partial Victory Submitted by Prashant (United States), Dec 28, 2022 at 18:47 Dear Dr Pipes, Correspondent Otto G described the Islamic politics in the context of Morrocan performance in the recently concluded world cup. I request the readers to read my message entitled 'Islamic Smoke Screens' (https://www.danielpipes.org/comments/290296). Though Muslims will use any convenient concept to cover their Islamic designs, the rest of the world must realize that all our concepts are just smoke screens for Muslims in their charge to expand Islam. Islamic opposition of Jews is not anti-semitism. Islamic opposition of Israelis is not racism. Islamic war against the Hindus is not against India. Islamic war in Kashmir has nothing to do with historical region of Kashmir. Islamic support of Morocco in soccer is not about North Africa or Morroco. Islamic love for the so called nation of Palestine has nothing to do with the historical Biblical region of Palestine. Islamic love for inner-city blacks in the USA, has nothing to do with the history of blacks in the USA or elsewhere. Islamic love for the oppressed in India has nothing to do with opposition of oppression. (No Muslim sword was ever raised to defend any oppressed group in the history of Islam). All these things and tens of others are small battle fronts that Muslim armies have currently opened in their obsessive war for Islam. The Turkish president once admitted that for Muslims democracy is a bus to be ridden for as long as needed and then abandoned. Equality, egalitarianism, freedom, feminism, socialism, communism, anti-racism etc. are other buses available to Muslims in their journey toward Islamic supremacy. Am I exaggerating here? I have no evidence to the contrary. Our readers should tell me where I am wrong. Of course, there are good Muslims. They like movies, they love wine, they like men and women, they want to raise good children, they love to sing and dance, they like good food in good parties. All of the above. But all their bets are off when Islam comes in the way. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
