Why not recognize the "State of Gaza"?Reader comment on item: Israel's Partial Victory Submitted by Robert (United States), Feb 7, 2023 at 08:50 One possible strategy for an Israelis "Victory" is for Israel to recognize the "State of Gaza" after "Dictator" Abbas of the Palestinian Authority (PA) is no longer in office due to his Octogenarian age. Israeli state archives have just revealed former Israeli PM Sharon's conversations with world leaders concerning the evacuation from Gaza: "We've finished up in Gaza" (Sharon) Abbas in the West Bank runs a dysfunctional administration recognized by some countries and the UN as the Palestinian State, or future state. However the Islamist terrorist organization, an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood has rebelled against the PA, and the rules and runs Gaza de facto. By recognizing Gaza as the de facto, and de jure, Palestinian Authority (if not State) Israel will shift the political burden to the Palestinians because the charter of Hamas seeks to destroy the "Israeli entity." he burden will then shift to the Palestinians and Israel will be in a legal "state of war" purely because of the Palestinian "government" of Hamas. In a state of war "occupation" is "natural." Of course, Israel denies that it is occupying its ancient homeland (on both sides of the Jordan River, by the way). Israel would then also have the option of sealing of its border with Gaza almost 100% - it is often forgotten that Egypt has a border with Gaza and it would be Egypt's burden to open Gaza to the outside world - until, or if, Peace is achieved with Israel. Constructing "close settlements" (Mandatory Palestine legal term) can continue in the West Bank (and annexed sovereign Israeli united capitol with "Old Jerusalem" as a part). And future Palestinian State status in the West bank may have at least 18.1% Jews with possible dual citizenship; similarly, any Israel Arab citizens should also have dual citizenship in the West Bank, if they so choose. Palestinian Apartheid is the desire to cleans Palestine of all Jews. In other words, it is the Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims, and the majority of the member states of the United Nations with practices Apartheid against Jews by denying the their national right to form "close settlements" throughout the Balfour Declaration Mandatory Palestine on both sides of the Jordan River. This anti-Zionism is merely the most modern version of Antisemitism against Jews on a worldwide scale.
