You are right on the root of the problem that the non-Muslim world is facing today. However, the political leaders and the general media have no guts to say it or face it. They are buryng their heads in sand(or may I say in "oil" sand) and hoping the problem will resolve itself. Yeah, it will resolve all right when the Islamists have taken over the world.
