First of all muslim women don't hate Islam. Second, who ever likes to convert from Islam in any Muslim country, they can do that because the Islamic laws you are talking about aren't applied in any muslim country,no exception.

Muslims find tranquility in their religion that they won't find in any other religion.That is why they rarely change it.The exception is when they are under any kind of pressure that would force them to do that.The slavery is a good example, when most of African slaves were forced to be christians in dark history of europian settlers in both Americas. The pressure that muslims find themselves under in the west after Sep 11 is another example with less impact.
