Collectivism vs. IdividualismReader comment on item: Israel and Congressional Democrats Submitted by Ralph C. Whaley MD (United States), Oct 19, 2010 at 09:10 Israel is a nation that protects the individuals right to live free. Arab Muslims are collectivists who promote and demand tyranny. America is the first and only nation founded specifically on the principle of Individual Rights and its Declaration of Independence states that the purpose of government is the protection of the rights of every individual to his own life, to live free, to pursue his own individual happiness. For any American to support in any way the antithesis of this principle of government is anti-human life. Every American who understands America's greatness should support any nation that defends individual rights and damn every nation that demands submission of the individual to the majority or self proclaimed agents of mystical authority. I am pro freedom, pro Israel and anti tyranny! Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
