eating pork

In Ann Arbor I find that many people who strongly identify as Jewish will not vote for a Republican. To be politically correct, they say that there are other issues. Its true, there are other issues, but the biggest issue for the US and Israel is a nuclear Iran and who best to deal with it. They don't want to admit, that Israel doesn't get a second chance. Voting Republican, even for observant Jews is like publicly admitting you eat pork.
