The Eternal Sovereign Recognizes No Power Over His to Those Who Trust in Him Instead of Governments

Herein lies a challenge: that as a modern society, does a 'liberal' derivative of the democratic process guarantee that all who would support the 'socialist' agenda now in view for the American public are going to be able to derive any actual benefit for holding to the socialist agenda? Let us ask first, those who have prejudicially terminated the life process of so many infants before they were born, what say you? Of those whose lives are already spent, and there is factual evidence that under the allocated provisions of the healthcare being promulgated under the recently passed 'Democratic' bill, are you going to have access to all that is necessary to maintain a full quality of life, or will you be passed over for the lack of a reason (rationale of rationing) to spend the full amount necessary to achieve that quality of life?

In a perfect world, those who have had pre-existing medical conditions which precluded access to the necessary resources to obtain the medical services that guarantees quality of life to all would receive them. But we are not in a perfect world, and the horror stories of people, young, old and in between, being deprived of even the most necessary treatment for survival are legend. The reason for this is that insurance is no guarantee that such treatment is going to be rendered. Insurance companies are not in the medical business: they are in business to make money, doing so by looking at actuarial analyses and determining the best way to cut losses. This is true whether the legislature is democratic or republican. And any of those legislators who have stock in any insurance company are not going to wonder if someone is living or dying, but what is the bottom line that is going to make his/her stock perform.

Insurance companies are always looking out for the attacks on their bottom lines, and if anyone thinks that the recent legislation is going to 'release' new funding to provide everyone a full measure of medical support, think again. Remember, having 'insurance' is no guarantee that institutional medicine will perform as hoped for. I have watched people close to me die, not for the lack of insurance, but for the lack of medicine to perform as was hoped for: then to be told that had they lived, the costs of the extended care was not available. That was during the previous democratic administration. In this democratic administration, the healthcare that is proposed is a panacea, that if there is no money to pay for all the procedures, which ones are to receive the care, and which are subject to the determination that the costs are not worth the return on the investment. Those types of decisions are already being made.

Now there are those of us who have read your missive and have compassion for your predicament. Many of us have had our own versions and can empathize. But to actually think that a political solution to the personal dilemmas that are all around us is going to provide the environment of medical assurance we all hope will be there when the need arises is a hard one to swallow, much like a horse pill that is hard to swallow, but will have no practical effect to heal.

Obtaining insurance for medical reasons is no guarantee of medical results. Insurance companies are not interested in the affordable healthcare necessary for all American to enjoy good health, but they only look for how they can hold costs down, which if they can't, they will fold as so many have before. And no amount of legislation is going to guarantee payment if there are no funds to make payment. Eventually, even the democrats are going to have to face that fact, and sooner than they expected now that they have signed the healthcare bill that is already in the hole before it is fully operational.

But in spite of that, I extend a hope that instead of looking for the government to help you deal with the contingencies of life, that a greater power be sought after that exceeds the power of any government, the same power that gives Israel her life, and the best promise for the future. It is how my life was extended; and it is extended to you.
