what will defeat the Islam of Muhammad?

Dr Pipes says "You can't defeat Islamism with secular, humanist ideas coming out of Europe. Only something from within Islam can defeat it" and whilst agreeing with the first part, I strongly disagree with the second part, being very definitely persuaded that only the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ will defeat the Islam of Muhammad, a key verse in the Bible saying,

"We are human, but we don't wage war as humans do. We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ."

2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Only in Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace is the Gospel of Grace exemplified, we're not worth it, we don't deserve it, we can't earn it, and once made truly alive by God's grace, we can't lose it. Do we want it?
