One important issue was totally overlooked

The overlooked issue is of prime importance. Let's name it: it's the so called WELTANSCHAUUNG, i.e. the way we represent the world to ourselves and which reflects in private but ALSO in public life and way things around us are organized . This is basic and the beginning of every move we do in life. If one assesses there is a God and everything is stemming from his power and will, one can just submit to His domination, provided His rule is stated somewhere. For those abiding to this idea, things are simple: God has "revealed" his rule and designs in holy books (Jewish and Christian Bibles, Coran, etc.), and the statement therein MUST be followed and obeyed.

On the other hand, for atheists and non believers in supranatural power, the cited books are a PURE PRODUCT OF HUMAN IMAGINATION, and their content reflects what their authors had in mind when knowingly or not, they put down what I call a mythological fantasy reflecting their own psychological state of mind. Well, this a very dangerous exercise for public affairs because this leaves open doors for any sort of manipulations of men and society under the cover of undiscutable imperatives presented as stemming from an unsurpassable source of power and wisdom.

Crooks would not behave differently. They present invented facts, figures and situations, all fake, to be able to persuade their listeners of doing things, all aimed at the sole benefit of the crook himself. This is the way all clergies act for the sake of taking advantage of naive people trusting them in the name of an invoqued mythology (call it religion) to substanciate their tricky deception.

So, whom to believe? Te religions or the professionals one call PHYSICISTS who have succeeded in giving a logical, consitent view of the world, without supranatural powers, incompassing our macroscopic world as well as the quasi superrealistic two siding worlds which are quantum mechanics (for the ultra small, down to atoms and strings) and relativity (for the ultra big, in the cosmos, where staight lines simply do not exist!).

Hence, the only trustworthy WELTANSCHAUUNG is the rational one stemming from the CONTROLLED (through results of RESEARCH) state of knowledge brougt to the world by modern physics which leads to adult sense of reality, gives to men the right and the power to organise and optimize their lives, organizations and institutions in accordance with THEIR intelligence of modern times. Which is totally opposed to the knowlkedge of a bunch of almost illiterate (in the sense of modern education), superstitious of would be thinkers as were the fathers of all religions in the dark barbarian ages, pretending to be "inspired".

As a conclusion, I wish to add that without a healthy WELTANSCHAUUNG, there is no hope of progress in human affairs. The only valid source of inspiration for social and political philosophy is the knowledge of how the world really functions, and this is given ONLY by SCIENCE which makes no statements unless they have been PROVEN in poweful mathematical theories AND test labs.
