What will defeat the Islam of Muhammed? The Messiah is Coming! response to Lactantius Jr.Reader comment on item: "You can't fight Islamism with ideas coming out of Europe" Submitted by Anne- USA (United States), Dec 9, 2010 at 16:07 Lactantius, I agree with you, there must be something within Islam that will defeat its ideology. A truth from the past ages and records..... According to a good friend who switched from Islam to Christianity, the Injeel has been Corrupted, (that is the New Testament.) Question is Who changed the Injeel? Why was it changed? If the Injeel contained enlightenment about the existence of God and God's beautiful plan for the world, what would motivate someone to change that revelation? If the Injeel was changed why would God allow early Christians to live in ignorance of God's will for nearly six hundred years, the time between the Injeels supposed corruption and the coming of the prophet of Islam? People are in a continual quest to know God's will, Why destroy that sought-after treasure for many generations. Where was the Injeel changed, what location or city, a religious center or a political center? What governments considered the Injeel a threat to them? Rome, Byzantium, Alexandria, and Jerusalem----all these were powerful epicenters of religious thought. But would any be more powerful than God Almighty. Can we find the original Injeel in that location and compare it with the present Injeel? Did the Injeel's corruption take place before the coming of the Prophet Muhammad, or after? Since Muhammed commanded all the Muslims to read the Injeel, it must have been corrupted after his death. He wouldn't have instructed us to believe and read a corrupted book, would he? On the other hand, if the Injeel was corrupted before his time- or during his life- he surely would have mentioned it. If the Injeel has been corrupted since then, we need to go back in history and see when. Many Imams claimed corruption found its way into the Injeel, but few would tell which specific parts were affected. Some muslim scholars pointed to the fact that since Islam came last chronilogically, it had corrected the Injeel's errors and wrong ideas about God. The prophet Abraham (Ibrahim) was the first to submit himself to the one true God and turn away from his family's idolatrous past. He led his family out from a pagan land to the place God led him. We are all searching for information as to why the religion changed, it was not always about violent. The virgin birth foretold: Isaiah 7:14- Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: Behold a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call his name Immanuel. Jesus the son of Mary was the promised Messiah of the Jews. I think we are all going to see how Islam's teachings will be corrected by the True Lord and Messiah Jesus. The time is coming, The Prince of Peace is Coming! Respectfully, Anne Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
