Reader comment on item: My Optimism about the New Arab Revolt

I rub my eyes with Dr Pipes. The overall optimism, positive outlook on a future that is unclear now, as expressed in the faces of the people in north-africa on tv, is impressive. The cleanup-foto in that context says that the people cleaning see their past going no further back as their own mess. The past of the old regime has already faded out of importance as far as today's activity goes. The future is theirs already.
