Muslims awakening is good for humanityReader comment on item: My Optimism about the New Arab Revolt Submitted by Kamekish (India), Mar 2, 2011 at 02:13 I join your optimism. The unrest in Libya and many other Middle East countries are giving a peace and rest to mind, boiling mind for the prevailing conservativeness of Muslims as a human. It is good for humanity. After last two decades of Information Age, as a technologist I was feeling bad that how can Muslims as human accept the merciless killing and dictatorship over them, over their wives and over their children. Muslims must show the world that they are human and care about humans. It is not an easy path as it appears to be. Prevailing uprising gives me consolation that nothing much have died among Muslims and something is alive as human. Once they are able to remove their dictator, they will behave more as human. We have less chnace to see new emrging Osama in this world. Americans are playing a significant role in awkaening world about their rights and opportunity for growth. USA must play very active and crucial role in spreading freedom for human beings. I am optimistic and I fully agree with your optimism. You are correct in your appreciation of this changing world. Its an inspiration for many of us in developing society. All the best for the future wars... USA must win them for humanity. kamekish Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
