This is a simple answer to your question.

All the nations you refered to, gained territories for the sake of mainly progress and expantion, to make more money and for power. Muslims, on the contrary, might have that in mind but their driving force is to conquer the whole world for their god, Allah by force.

Almost all the nations you refered to, are bible believing people who believe in Jaweh, the God of Israel and some also in Jesus who's name is Immanuel which means GOD WITH US. .........and this my friend, is rather a big difference.
