That is probably true. So what are the implications of acknowledging that? We will have the knowledge when the missiles are on their way that the Mullahs really were impenetrable and resolute in their religious zealotry? It will be too late for the rest of the world who will have to suffer the consequences of the domino effect it will create.

I do not believe that sanctions have been sufficiently utilized and that is due to two issues; the weakness and cowardice of western countries and the duplicitous and uncommon goals of countries like China and Russia who will not cooperate with the sanctions, therefore rendering them relatively harmless. Then there are the friendly countries like Japan and India who are concerned, but not enough to damage their economies.

It would take some serious diplomatic expert wizardry to get those countries to seriously join the sanctions, and that is the only outcome we can hope for.
