Who's unhappy about what's going on in Syria?Reader comment on item: Further Thoughts on Not Intervening in Syria Submitted by Waell Murray (United States), Jun 19, 2012 at 00:48 It's probably obvious to the straight thinker that what's happening in Syria does not bother any politician in the West. That is a fact, and it's a self proven one, as no western government official would ever wish that a Middle Eastern nation becomes people governed. Let's analyze the situation with an eye focused on facts, and nothing but facts. What would be the fate of the Jewish state, which currently exchanges diplomatic relations with Jordan and Egypt despite the fact that neither the Jordanian nor the Egyptian people are happy about such exchange? The main and key element in maintaining such relationship between Israel and its closest neighbours is that the two nations are governed by dictators who continue to govern their nations affairs with the least reference to what make their peoples happy or even close to satisfied. Such dictatorships are vitally needed in the countries surrounding Israel, as those dictators are guaranteeing good nights sleeps for those who are in charge of Israel's security. So, for those who think for one minute that there will be a Western intervention In Syria that will help the Syrian people get rid of the oppressing regime there, please think again, and then you'll realize that what's happening in Syria is simply a conspiracy against the Syrian people, and the participants in it are the Syrian government, the Russians, the Iranians, and the entire Western world.
