If only Daniel Pipes is right.Reader comment on item: How Terrorism Harms Radical Islam Submitted by Wallace Schwam (United States), Jan 9, 2015 at 19:33 Is Dan right in insisting that terrorism is counterproductive to the Islamist cause? I wish it were true. Instead, the violence in France highlights again how a small group of terrorists can paralyze a nation and suck up its resources. Some appeasers have already labeled the event as the action of "Activists" rather than terrorists. Let's see how brave the new artists will be when they require constant police protection. What's missing is a Theological counterattack to the Theology of Jihad. Weak attempts have been made by "moderate muslims" and Al Sisi's speech was commendable. However, as has oft been noted, a person's "God" is what they cannot say NO to. When a person is converted with a gun to his head, at that moment, the gunman is playing God. The conversion has NOT been to Allah or any other higher authority. On this basis, we should make a strong Theological counterattack. Why should they be the only ones to have "God" in their playbook?
