Victory by terrorReader comment on item: How Terrorism Harms Radical Islam Submitted by WeMustResist (Australia), Jan 9, 2015 at 19:48 Mohamet was right. He was made victorious by terror. The opposition it arouses is less than the appeasement and surrender it gets. The US would never have elected a man with a Muslim past before the Sep11 attacks. Without Sep11 no POTUS would have appeased Islam like Obama. We must resist evil if we want life. Usually the evil is inside each of us, and we must overcome the evil by growing love and the other virtues, inside each person. If the evil is in society then we still have to overcome it person by person, one human at a time. Mohamet can be defeated if we exercise the virtues of love and wisdom and courage and beauty and whatever other virues it takes. But the trend now is in Mohamets favor. We are not winning. Many fewer journalists will ridicule Mohamet after the Charlie attacks. No politician dare say "If Mohamet wanted the Charlie attacks then he was a bad man." When Churchill was young any politician could scorn Mohamet. Now no-one can. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
