my senility not too bad yet

I am at an age when some memory loss can be expected.

With European governments, it is difficult for me to remember which ones have parliamentary systems, which have governments like ours.

Another question I could have raised about President Obama is what a lot of people have been asking, why he didn't show up at the multi-leader, massive demonstration in Paris. If security concerns were the reason, were there no such concerns for the leaders of Italy, France, England, Germany and the many other nations represented?

If we have finally reached a point where, after so many decades of Americans defending Europeans so they have money for other things, they are about to start fighting their own battles more... that would be long overdue and welcome. (The British have always been the exception.)
