Doing away with evil systems

Hello, Daniel and Mike. Daniel, Mike did note that many of the happening today that are called "Islamism", are not new. A good example is the Muwahid Caliphate in the Maghreb, Spain and Portugal in the 12th and 13th Centuries AD. They were Shi'ite Takfiris, who violently persecuted Jews, Sunnis and Christians alike. Once they were secure in power, The "Assasins of Alamut" were also in their prime in those days. They also were Shi'ites, a thorn in the side of the Sunni Seljuk Turks of Iran. Today, the Maghreb is Sunni and Iran is Shi'ite, and the Assasins have disappeared; but the craziness contiues.

This "doing away with" the present wicked system is something that all "isms" have tried to deal with. The Communists claimed that they could wipe out old ways through "re-education"; and that ultimately even government itself would wither away, because people would have become so improved by education, there would be no need for it. None of that, obviously, has ever come to pass. Obama and his Neocom friends thought they could overcome Islamism through democracy. this rose-colored thnking gave us Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Syria and Iraq. Hitler thought he could bring about a thousand-year utopia by getting rid of what he saw as the root of all opposition to it, namely, the Jews. He failed.

Nobody can "do away with" evil governing systems; and those who claim they have a way to do so, like the Communists, Neocoms and Nazis, simply want to replace one evil system with another. God will destroy all these systems, as the Bible says He will; then there will be peace. Until then, we need to find a way to maintain our integrity while surrounded by evil.
