I just had to smile reading that he's a 'mysoginist' : )Reader comment on item: A Conservative in the Age of Trump Submitted by Anon (Israel), Jan 17, 2017 at 14:59 Does being labeled a misogynist ... make one as bad as Stalin or as Hitler? These days, if you aren't a radical (i.e crazy) feminist, you're a 'misogynist'. The label isn't one which suits Trump in any meaningful way, in that he's in the past made important female appointments to his companies (surely not in the name of political correctness) and who has also now appointed fine women. In other words, he believes in meritocracy, and that in itself makes the charge silly. Like 'Islamophobe', perhaps even more so, the term 'misogynist' should not be used towards anyone. Lacking such a term, left-wingers will say "he hates women". I have not in my life ever met a man who hates women. The left loves using the term 'hate' to apply to anyone outside their ideological circle, whereas most of us see the left itself as being inherently hateful. I am sure that if political correctness continues its trajectory any man who finds some women to be beautiful will be accused of misogyny. Indeed, I think that's already the case. Anyone who thinks some women have beautiful figures already stands accused of both 'misogyny' and of 'objectification' of women. 'Objectification' is another misnomer, another moronic term, used only against straight men, never against gays, nor against any woman who would admire a man's physique. If there are two candidates, identical in all but that only one has been accused of misogyny, that is the one I would vote for.
