Refute Robert?

I'm not looking to post another comment, but I do want to thank you for suggesting I post my original one. I read the other comments and your responses, all thought-provoking and inspiring. I'd be interested in learning one piece (to start!) of evidence that you think attests to Donald Trump's status as a "wretched" human being, though I doubt I'd be able to defend Trump's character nearly as well as Robert did in his comment on your post. My interest is not for the sake of argument, but rather to try to help explain where Trump is coming from and why it's been easy to misunderstand him (as Robert points out).
