As it stands, Trump seems to be waffling.

Barry Black, you seem very definite that Trump will go through on his campaign promise regarding relocating the US Embassy to Jerusalem. This is not, however, what I gathered by what his press secretary, Mr. Spicer, said:

"In response to a question asking if the US embassy would be in Jerusalem at the end of the next four years, Mr Spicer said: "There's a reason you go through a decision-making process, and that's what we're in the process of starting right now. "I don't want to get ahead of – IF IT WAS ALREADY A DECISION, WE WOULDN'T BE GOING THROUGH A PROCESS." he added."

Notice that the questioner wasn't asking Spicer about the DETAILS of relocating the embassy; he was asking him WHETHER Trump would indeed do this during his time in office. Either Trump is backpedalling, out of cowardice, or Spicer is a very poor communicator; and I notice that Trump has not bothered to correct Spicer.

For the moment, I will give Trump the benefit of the doubt, and ascribe this whole affair to incompetence; but I am concerned for him and for us.
