An Israeli victory would also be an Arab victory, because it's the only option that would lead to mutual peace and prosperity. Here's how it would look:Reader comment on item: Pushing for an Israeli Victory Is the Only Way to End the Conflict with the Palestinians Submitted by G Marcus (United States), Dec 3, 2018 at 10:43 (1) Islam's supreme theological authorities -- Chief Imams of Al-Azhar and of Saudi Arabia -- would simultaneously issue Fatwas declaring Israelite (Banu Israil) sovereignty in the Promised Land (Ard-i Mav'ut) immune from Jihad as per commanded by Allah in the Koran (based on 5:21, 17:104, and many others), and voiding all previous contradictory fatwas as Islamic blasphemy; (2) With full Islamic backing and cooperation, Israel will rebuild the Hebrew Temple on a vacant segment of Temple Mount, which would have its own separate entrance. Mutual acceptance and respect regarding reciprocal shrines on Temple Mount would be a key symbol of mutual peace and recognition; (3) Gaza: Under linkage to Egypt, Saudi/Gulf funding, and Israeli hi-tech, would be turned into an autonomous Arab entity that can prosper as a Dubai-like industrial, trade, and finance hub on the Eastern Mediterranean; (4) West Bank: In light of more complex geopolitics, parts of the region, excluding all of Area C, would be linked to Jordan in some sort of federal structure, safeguarding security and settlements for Israel, demographics for Arabs, holy sites for both; (5) The parties would recognize that two reciprocal refugee crises took place as part of the same conflict, leading to a de facto population exchange: An Arab "nakba" regarding Israel/Palestine, and a Jewish "nakba" regarding an even greater number of Jewish refugees expelled from Arab/Islamic countries, where they left far greater assets, businesses and properties than the Arab refugees; (6) Refugee Resettlement: Most of 1948 Arab refugees held in UNWRA camps would be resettled within the Saudi/Gulf region, thereby providing these booming economies with a well-educated Arab workforce, while gradually phasing out millions of non-Arab Asian expats that make up a key share of their current workforce. The envisioned Saudi-Egyptian-Jordanian new city of Neom on the Gulf of Aqaba could also serve as a major magnet for such resettlement.
