What kind of victory the "Israeli Victory" means?Reader comment on item: Pushing for an Israeli Victory Is the Only Way to End the Conflict with the Palestinians Submitted by Vadim Anshelevich (United States), Dec 8, 2018 at 13:22 Gen. James Mattis: "No war is over until the enemy says it's over." Typical modern Western misunderstanding of what victory actually means. Victors do not wait for the enemies to acknowledge their defeat. They impose their will on defeated even if the enemies do not acknowledge their defeat and despite their unwillingness to acknowledge their defeat. Imposing their will on the enemy means, particularly, humiliation of the enemy, and the removal form the enemy any resources, especially economic ones, for the continuation of resistance. Then the war is over. What kind of victory proponents of "Israeli Victory" are promoting for? Gen. James Mattis' type? Will Israel continue to wait for Arabs to say that the "war is over"?
