Transitory allies

Hi Robert,

You're right about Israel's Sunni allies but Israel has to tread very carefully. Every time we act militarily in the middle east we unknowingly dip our toe in the 1400 year old Sunni-Shiite war. Both sides hate us and both sides are happy to have us fight on their side for as long as we're dumb enough. Which we've shown ourselves to be again and again. I think Israel is a lot smarter about the motives and intentions of her neighbors, I hope so.
