Realizing True Priorities Between Children of Ishmael and IsaacReader comment on item: Israeli Victory, Palestinian Prosperity Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Jul 21, 2021 at 15:50 It is tried so hard to develop some promising alternate solution (like the severely misplaced intentions to revisit a remapped 'Palestinian' homeland when there was never one in the first place); and yet a note of optimism is dismissed for the reality of the circumstances to few are willing to recognize; yet again. Dr. Pipes cynicism is well expressed here; for if anyone has a sense of the futility that is the intrafamilial feud of Ishmael versus Isaac, it is the esteemed scholarship that he has been developing for decades, only slightly appreciated by some for the rejection of a truth that the Doctor brings to the forum. The political circumstances that are represented here are the continuing failures of those that still think a 'Palestinian' agenda of appropriating any portion of territorial Jewish homeland has any chance of surviving the eventual showdown in which all such matters will no longer be decided by proxy. 'Palestinian' prosperity is not going to be the incentive to gain Israeli victory; but the 'Palestinian' destiny will be determined when those who are descendants of Ishmael realize that the promise to Abraham is to Isaac; and only when Israeli victory is achieved does the promise to Ishmael get realized.
