'Palestinian' Reliance on Support from American 46th Administration in QuestionReader comment on item: Israeli Victory, Palestinian Prosperity Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Oct 12, 2021 at 14:33 In the continuing attempt to search out a peaceful resolution between Israel and the 'Palestinian' leadership, one now gets a sense this is not going to work out to the benefit of either side since trust does not appear part of the relationship: is anyone surprised? As Reader Nicholas alludes to; there are signs no immediate solutions of bilateral acceptance are forthcoming since the current American 46th Administration appears to be in an attempt to rewrite the United States' perception of a Middle East with a mitigated Israel. The clue here is that there does not appear to be any international interests willing to allow Israel to determine her own destiny. The 'Palestinian' perspective remains the same; concede nothing that does not obtain concessions that will allow enforcement of their charter. Unless and until this is discharged by the 'Palestinians,' the signs are that the major confrontation waiting in the wings will be the ultimate determining factor that eventually settles the issues, once and for all. Again, it is prognosticated here, Israel eventually wins, American 46th Administration's attempt to do otherwise notwithstanding.
