Surrendering to IranReader comment on item: Victory – An Obsolete Concept? Submitted by Stephen Hughes (United States), Jul 26, 2009 at 16:54 Obama's mouth piece Clinton stated Iran is far too busy to engage in Nuclear talks . Meaning Washington will wait while Tehran crushes the life out of the attempts of the Iranian people to gain freedom from the Mullahs. Strange considering Obama's push to be accepted in the Mid-East, to win friendship, influence enemies. At the end of Desert Storm Gulf War I, former President Bush senior . encouraged the Iraqi People to over throw Saddam Hussein. Iraqi people mainly in Basra rose up. As US Troops watched in the distance, thousands of Iraqis were slaughtered by Saddam's Republican Guard Forces. Bush refused to intervene. Thousand more of Iraqis fled to Iran and into the waiting arms of the Mullahs. The surviving Iraqis of Saddam's genocide learned," You Do Not Trust America, " US Troops were not really greeted as liberators in Operation Iraqi Freedom 2003, it was the beginning of a wider war, of which is crashing upon US Troops even today and has fed the fires of terrorism in the Mid-East to Afghanistan. Obama has done nothing to stop the Islamic Fascists of Iran obtaining nuclear weapons, or of building a nuclear umbrella for International Terrorism, he has simply surrendered. Obama is washing his hands clean of the matter, even while US Troops are dying by the hands of Iranian Revolutionary Guard in Iraq.
