Victory, If Not Ultimate, Does Not Tend to Peace - Even in Nuclear TermsReader comment on item: Victory – An Obsolete Concept? Submitted by M Tovey (United States), May 30, 2022 at 11:30 Warfare has been in the heart of humanity for almost the entirety of its existence; it is innate, even for the most timid, where in such cases, its expression is repressed for the lack of resolve in the face of fear. The dichotomy exists since on the other hand, those with a greater sense (in the self) of their perception that obtaining that which is desired is easily achieved becase the sense of the timidity of those so disposed entices a mind in seeking such fulfilment for that mortal gratification of gaining superiority and feeding the super ego. Any perception of weakenss is subjugated until such time the ego is fractured and a replacement is waiting in the wings. Apply to why the United States was summarily forced to leave Afghanistan and who was the reason the Russian incursion did not start until that happened?
