"Difference"Reader comment on item: Victory – An Obsolete Concept? Submitted by Robert (United States), Sep 27, 2022 at 16:16 (1) My basic question is very simple. This particular article here you wrote years ago. And you simply add new observations over subsequent years by dating these and posting them on the button. However, at some point you decide to "update" your article, and every dated addition on the bottom carries the word "update." So I'm simply saying what you mean by doing so? Is it to be taken as a "Second Edition" for example? Do you change substantially what you wrote before? (2) My substantive question is whether you have modified your view of "Victory (for Israel) in any way? More specifically, do you mean the same thing today than what you wrote the first time years ago, regarding Victory"? I guess I don't still know if you mean "victory" in a general sense. You do say sometimes that the Palestinian must be made to realize that they lost. But if that's all you mean, I wish to direct you to the fact, that Putin never accepted the collapse of the Soviet Union, and now is fighting to regain Ukraine or parts of it. Accordingly, nether the US nor the EU or the OK have yet achieved Victory over the USSR which now metamorphosed into Russian Federation under "Stalin" or "Czar" Putin. I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for the Palestinian, Arabs, or Muslims to realize they lost the war anytime soon, and I know you won't either.
