Reading the growing comments on the internet on the situation in the Netherlands and the WIlders-trial, I must confess: it is uplifting and encouraging to see. The international media is slowly but surely zooming in on our small country, which has a almost endimic problem with fair and balanced reporting. Something like investigative reporting is almost non-existend i am very sad to say. I am NOT exaggerating. I understand some people wil not believe me. Nevertheless, I stand by my statement. The NL ofcourse, is such a small country, it's sunk below the attention-radar, internationally speaking. We are not a world power, we are not Big, nobody understands our language and most persons confuse us with Denmark or Belgium. Finding us on a map can be a frustrating exercise! Oh well, thats all part of being small I guess!

Ofcourse, we DO have a glorious past, most notably our 'golden' 17th century, and some other historical titbits here and there. For a small nation we have been noticed once in a while. But, all in all, the 20th century has not showerd us with that much glory. And since 1945 we have gotten ourselves in all kinds of constitutional problems of all sorts really. To understand what I am talking about, one must dig past all the politically correct poohah ofcourse. I wont dwell on it longer here.

Anyway, I rejoice in reading critical and analytical comments on the NL! Please do continue everybody and tell friend and family on us. Investigate! Expose! Discuss!.
