I just browsed through your email, and yet again I find someone, with no sense of research breaking down the Quranic verses and dwelling on every single word... Without Thinking Or Reasoning.. The Quran has ordered us to Think and Reason with every verse and everything in our life. (there are hundreds of verses that ask us to think, see, reason, use common sense etc). Definately many more than the few verses on battle and war.

You need a researcher's mind to know the message of Quran. All the verses in the Quran relating to war or battle were revealed to the Prophet pbuh when a battle/war was forced upon him By Those Who Only Wanted To Fight Him For His Religious Belief. I am trying to make two points out of this:

1. Know the History of the Verse. The time and circumstance it was revealed in (that's your research which will help you Think and Reason with that verse). The verse i spoke of earlier was revealed when the Battle of Badr was upon muslims. The Meccans had waged that battle (not the muslims).

2. The reason why these verses say Unbelievers is because the Enemy at that time kept INITIATING BATTLE with the Muslims JUST because they wanted Islam Gone, These were Holy Wars. By the Way Kuffar is not an english word, it is an Arabic word with simply means Unbeliever. Now in the Time of Crusades, the Verses would apply perfectly because they were Holy Battles.

To Conclude, In a world of today, where People like Geroge Bush wages a holy war against Iraq and Afghanistan. Then of course these verse would apply for the Iraqi and Afghani people. (Dont forget who started the war). (dont tell me 9-11 because you cant punish and entire country for the act of 6 or 7 people, who we dont even know the case details off) and (I dont want to hear about what the war was labled to do, as it is just an excuse)

There are many people that turn their faces away from the Iraqi, Afghani, palestinian and Kashmiri Issue.. Surprisingly they all are Muslim Dominated areas with occupied forces within their countries. Dont They have a right to fight for their freedom? Did they ask for that millitary to be in their country and Accidently go killing civilians?? Did the ask for Flags from different Country to be Raised on their soul?? did the ask for foreign millitary bases to be built on their land???

I'm sorry if you cant give me a Consensus from the Entire Population of Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, and Kashmir to answer those questions... Then I would say No One has the Right To take someone Freedom away and that is simply a "Battle" senario.

Wilders Movies only shows those countries at war, a war NOT waged by them... And Sadly it shows the terror that civilians go through living there and the hatered they have for their occupying enemy (Every human would feel the same way and in battle has a right to feel that way).... There are many muslim countries Living in Peace and have nothing to do with that documentary.

So we are back to the same point... Wilders conclusion on modifying the Quran is based on senario and situation of the countries at war. Those verse apply in the situation of war. It would have been a better documentary if the message said "STOP WAR" or "End War". It is HATEFUL Because The Truth has not been spoken. Yes an Iraqi man would hate an american, brit, or canadian soilder, and there is nothing wrong with that. But Labeling him as a muslim and generalizing is not the truth.

It's Just Common Sense!!

Lastly, I am a muslim and I dont hate anybody... Most muslims are normal human beings, all they want is to work for a living to raise their family, get education for their kids and hope that they dont get targeted by hate and violence, they want their family's safety, they wanna be able to go back home and have a safe night's sleep and wake up the next day to continue their normal life. Read all my messages before, All i am doing is defending Islam and my MUSLIM self. while all you guys keep saying is you HATE ME!! FOR WHAT..
