I find it a bit ludicous

I fail to see the frantic need to stop Iran from getting nuclear capacity when Pakistan already has them. Everyone seems to think that Iran has more fanatics than Pakistan, and I am very doubtful about that Pakistan is all stocked up. One reason might be the fact that India is right there as a deterrent. But the biggest problem in Iran is that there is no deterrence- they don't seem to care if they are attacked.

Oh, I think I just answered my own question- the difference is that, in the case of Pakistan, it is the people who are fanatic and extremists while the government is relatively pragmatic (thus far). In Iran, the people are relatively sane while the leaders are the ones who are fanatically insane.
