Panetta Predicts an Israeli Strike on Iran

Well, what else is new? Of course. He who leads from behind and his "charges" will say what needs to be said to once again blame the other guy when the inevitable happens. Then the empty suits rush to the microphones with the stern (I must protect my country) look on their faces, and reluctantly confess that we all must, under the dire circumstances, protect our allies (not for Israel's sake of course, but Saudi Arabia's) then we will will be in it again! Why? I mean, who'd want to give up four more years of caviar and golf? I think most of us Americans get it by now! Standing with Israel is a must. I just wish that the powers that be would do it for the right reason. I mean really, who could say no when we have billions of dollars invested in Saudi Arabia and they do here. Israel wins by default. We go in, we take Iran out, somebody gets to be hero again for no good reason, and we go back to what is it called?..."our new normal?" Is there a choice here?
