Harry, you miss my point

Harry, In fact my rather cynical point was that since BHO, the campaigner in chief, usually operates according to voting strategies and advantages, it would not benefit him quite so much to please the relatively small Jewish component of his supporters, especially since so many of them tend to be leftist in terms of Israeli politics. They therefore are not impressed with gestures on behalf of Israel with a rightist government and all push for a 2 state solution and concessions to the Palestinians. I was sarcastically confused that BHO would see the need to 'pander' to them.

When you think about the over 70 percent of Jewish voters who helped elect BHO, you must conclude that Israel was not their priority in any way. The fact that Israel is a true friend in the ME and a true democracy is simply incidental. It is the Pals who are portrayed as the oppressed downtrodden and they prefer to root for the 'underdog', not the oppressors... (again- I am being sarcastic)
