And now, US officials blabbing about Israel's plans too
Reader comment on item: Panetta Predicts an Israeli Strike on Iran

What gives? I fail to comprehend the strategy of publicising Israel's plans other than to be in major CYA mode, or worse, to be in full re-elect Obama campaign mode. Whatever the reason, it looks really amateurish and damaging.
