Egypt and Gaza now?

Excellent analysis. That is precisely the main point: the next government will be discredited by the looming economic disaster. Even worse, whoever comes won't get a massive bailout from Qatar in dollars or natural gas, so the crisis will actually be much more dreadful than if the Brothers were in power. I think you should have mentioned that. Remember that the new Emir is even friendlier to the MB than his father.

The other question is not whether a war against Israel will be launched. That is frankly far-fetched. It is what the new rulers will do about the smuggling of arms to Hamas. Mubarak let them pass, whereas Morsy closed the flow, because he was weak and afraid of repercussions. So will the military now show toughness towards Israel by helping arm Hamas?

On the other hand, there are already anti-Palestinian tweets and facebook posts going on in Egypt, because of the Hamas-Brotherhood affiliation.
