Egypt won't be the problem

Its not Egypt which unites the Shites and Sunnis together. Its whoever destroys Damascus (Isaiah 17:1) a Moslem city which causes wrath among all Moslems bordering Israel in the tribes listed in Psalms 83:6-8 and Ashur/Assyria/Iraq Al-Qaeda whose forces perish when attacking Israel. (Psalms 83:17)

Its Egypt which becomes devastated likely in a war effecting Syrene (The Aswan Dam region) to the borders of Ethiopia. (Ezekiel 29:10) This war likely occurs because Ethiopia will Dam up a section of water which empties into the Nile for irrigation/agricultural purposes to feed its people. Former Egyptian president Morsi had said if Nile river water was diverted from Egypt the price for water would be paid in blood. Egypt has been hogging up Nile river water for their own irrigation purposes since 1959 A.D. Some five African starving nations want Nile water. While Egypt is facing civil war (Isaiah 19:2) and a cruel leader may arise (Isaiah 19:4) at the time the Nile river begins to dry (Isaiah 19:5) there will likely be a war over Nile river water.

Egypt is not listed in the Ezekiel 38-39 prophecies so its devastation must come before that time as in Ezekiel 38:5 Iran/Persia, Ethiopia/Sudan and Libya-well Ethiopia/Sudan and Libya go through a devastated Egypt to attack Israel from the south as Gog (Russia) Ezekiel 38:2-3 & Iran attack Israel from the north and God's wrath takes out their armies. (Ezekiel 38:18-23) God's name is then magnified in many nations. (Ezekiel 38:23) The Jews can then build their temple on the Temple Mount after the Russian/Iranian army is destroyed on the mountains of Israel. (Ezekiel 39:1-9) The Jews will be living under a false peace for he the wicked one shall enter Israel and only the Jews fleeing to Edom, Moab and Ammon will escape. (Daniel 11:41)

All nations will then come against Jerusalem at the end (Zechariah 14:2-9) The true Lord (Jesus Christ) will appear and rule over the whole world from Jerusalem.
