It's all about the economy, not a referendum on Islam or MB

For those optimists who attribute western style values to the Egyptians and naively believe that those millions of protesters were in the streets to stop the Islamist rule, I am sad to inform you that the will of the people was not moved for freedom or rights but rather bread.

It's all about the economy, and they would not be in those streets if not for that. Not that the fall of the Muslim Brotherhood is not a great thing, but we should not be pulling out the champagne corks celebrating the Egyptian people's fight for religious freedom.
