The Israeli Epicenter Cannard - Jews are the Scapegoats of Christam Europe & Islamist Asia-AfricaReader comment on item: Explaining Obama's Fixation with Israel: Linkage Submitted by Ludvikus (United States), Feb 23, 2015 at 05:34 Are we seeing the Forest - but for Trees? After the Holocaust and the End of World War Two, Israel was a convinent depository for the Jews whom the Nazis, the Fascists, Vichy France, and other Axis Europeans failed to exterminate. Even the Soviet Union saw Israel as a good solution of the Jewish Question. But the Arabs, and the rest of the West Asian and non-Sub Sahara Africans were still unconscious in their liberation from British and French Colonialism, and American Imperialism. True, Muslim Brotherhood had already emerged in 1928, before Hiler's ascendancy. But soon Nasser emerged, and the phenomena of Nasserism. In Syria and Iraq, other forms of dictatorships emerged, under the banner of Baathism. Nevertheless, the only thing they had in common, that was deeply significant, was their aversion to the Israeli state which was viewed through eyes clouded by a Victimhood mentality. It was natural to assume non-democratic forms of government, since it was the democracies which maintained the subservience of Islam to the "Crusading" Colonialists and Imperialists. The humiliation of Jewish, and Western, Israel at the Epicenter of the Middle East, was the one distracting and unifying element among the 1.6 Billion Muslims and their descendents. Then comes the Arab Spring. Finally, the House of Islam is preoccupied with the suicide bombing first perfected by the Palestinian brethren on the Jews of Israel. Iran and Turkey have already turned away from secularism, Iran in 1979, and Turkey decades later under PM Erdogan. While Israel remains the external enemy common to all Muslim countries, in reality the Muslim world is split along its ancient division od Sunnis and Shia'a. It appears that Israel is the common enemy merely by default. But only Iran, with its potential Atom Bombs is capable of posing an existential threat. The Sunni countries, on the other, are divided among themselves, in complete disarray as to how to come to terms with the modern world. I used to think that our President Obama was intellectual brilliant - especially after Junior Bush's precedence. But now I imagine that his own early exposure to benevolent Islam in East Asia has blinded him to American Exceptionalism, though I wouldn't go so far as to say, like former New York Mayor Guiliani has, that he does not love the United States which, after all, made him its President. But reality is often stranger than fiction, and perhaps he loves Humanitry more than America - is that a fault? I would say yes - but only because of our Exceptionalism; as the only true Superpower left, I therefore expect a George Washington, or Abraham Lincoln, out of Barack Obama, not a Woodrow Wilson and his failed Fourteen Points in practice.
