optionsReader comment on item: How Israel Might Destroy Iran's Nuclear Program Submitted by michael fayerman (United States), Jul 21, 2015 at 07:37 I am a big fan of Mr Pipes. However, I don't believe that Israel could do special forces or "nuclear option on Iran" Does Israel want to be the first nation to use Nuclear in middle east. If they do that their liabilities will by far outgrow any positive that could come out of it! I t would be a classic -yes that Roman emperor victory! After so many years the SF approach will not work since Iranians had too much time to prepare and the targets are scattered all over Iran. I am sure also that they created fake targets as well Unless, Israel recruited the current Head of Iranian Secret Police plus couple of other high level people who intimately know the location of ALL important targets, the operation will fail. The only small possibility I see by Israelis developing even further electro-magnet based weapons. That will disable Iran for a relatively long period of time.(Given they know all real location). I would not be surprised that they created a great deal of "fake" location. Or BTW iSRAEL DOES NOT HAVE HEAVY BOMBERS THAT COULD DEVASTATE THESE LOCATIONS THAT ARE DEEPLY UNDERGROUND. Bunker "busters" are not the same. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
