Israel is not in danger of reprisals from Iran, if it destroys their nuke program

Hello, Pez

Both Israel and the US DID, in fact, refrain from attacking Iran in 2012, and continue to do so to this day. I dare say, though, that this had nothing to do with fear that this would somehow pique the Iranians into doing something they had not intended to do. If and when Israel attacks Iran, it will be because Iran has pursued its anti-Israel nuclear weapons program to an intolerable point. When it does so, I will add, Israel will make sure that Iran is unable to rebuild this dangerous capacity.

The government of Israel has sworn that the Holocaust will never happen again. If the Iranians had enough sense to understand what that means, they will not try to return to their program. Unfortunately, they do not seem to have gotten the message.
